The Southside Elementary PTO is dedicated to supporting and strengthening the Southside community by enhancing the educational experience of our students and providing resources directly to our teachers and school.  

 

Each year our dedicated team of parent volunteers works hard to meet the needs of Southside's students and faculty. Teacher development support, equipment for STEM programs, school equipment, and several community building events are only a few examples of how PTO gives back.

 

Our PTO thrives because of parents. Whether it be that you volunteer your time, donate financially, or both, family participation is essential. Collaborative efforts  between parents, teachers, and staff matter.

Hundreds of research studies show that when parents get involved, children do better in school. Those children are more likely to: have better attendance, have a more positive attitude towards school, score higher on tests, and have better social skills. The benefits are endless.
