UNIFORM CLOSET
A program to reuse and recycle pre-loved uniforms. Donations are collected, organized and distributed all year! PTO offers a designated day before the school year begins for anyone to look thru and pick these gently worn uniforms. After that, uniforms are available upon request for the remainder of the year.

GREEN TEAM
This program organizes the planting, maintaining and harvesting of Southside’s garden. Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers our entire school is enriched educationally thru this platform. The Garden is used as a tool for teachers and volunteer parents to create experiential learning in and out of the classroom from the plants and vegetables these classrooms grow.

FALL FESTIVAL
This annual event is tremendous fun for the entire Southside community! A free event to build comradary among families and students. Enjoy rides, games, food, and music all on our playfield. Great for the entire family and kids of all ages.

HOLIDAY HOUSE
A Southside tradition! Our team of holiday funner uppers transform our multi-use Room into a week long holiday shopping store! EVERY student will get to choose gift items for those special loved ones on their list without having to pay- thanks to our suggested donation model. They will even have their new treasures wrapped by one of our many volunteers.

VARIETY SHOW
This event showcases our students’ many talents… and we have a lot of it at Southside! All students are welcome to try out and then display their unique talents at the show!

SNOWFLAKE WALL
In the spirit of giving! The Southside PTO partners with our school administrators to identify and help Southside families that may need an extra hand over the holiday season. All donors and recipients remain completely anonymous.

Fathers Being Involved
Our dedicated Male Volunteers lend a helping hand. Whether grilling out during an event, helping out in the garden, building something around campus or doing some old fashion heavy lifting when needed, we value all our male role models.

5TH GRADE GRADUATION
Our volunteers make sure our Graduating fifth graders have a send off to remember! We want them to know how much they will be missed.
