At Southside Elementary, we believe that supporting our teachers and staff is one of the most important ways we can help our students thrive. The Southside PTO is proud to partner with educators by providing resources, funding, and encouragement to enhance the classroom experience and make learning more enriching for every child.

Throughout the year, PTO hosts several teacher and staff appreciation events and initiatives. In addition, every year teachers and student support staff receive:

 

• CARE Funds: Every classroom is provided $400 through our CARE classroom adoption initiative. These funds can be used to help bring creative ideas and classroom needs to life with fewer out-of-pocket costs for teachers.

• Supply Funding: Every classroom is provided $125 to purchase essential tools and materials you rely on every day.
   

In addition to the annual support, Southside PTO also considers grant requests from teachers and staff for:

• Field trip support

• Professional development and conference attendance

• Special classroom or school-wide projects that enhance learning and build community
   

Whether it’s funding a science experiment, helping students attend a specialfield trip, or supporting your own growth as an educator, we are here to collaborate and back your vision. We deeply appreciate all that you do — and we’re committed to walking alongside you to make every year stronger than the last.
